Set in a beautifully restored villa in Frogner, Sawan combines the finest ingredients and delicate Thai flavours to create a uniquely modern version of Thai cuisine. The restaurant’s cooking is both subtle and sophisticated, with complex flavours in perfect balance. Sawan’s elegant interior, with touches of Thai-inspired decor, is an ideal setting for intimate, romantic evenings and also larger gatherings of families, friends and colleagues. A highlight is the Sawan wine cellar which is well-chosen and extensive. Expert sommeliers recommend perfect wine pairings to accompany the dishes. Sawan has private rooms that are ideal for larger groups, business get-togethers and special celebrations, including small weddings. The restaurant also has a seasonal terrace and garden which is open during the summer months from May 10 to August 25. At the beginning of September the terrace is transformed into an enclosed winter garden available for groups and private parties.
